Day 1

Kathmandu / Lukla (2840m) Flight ,Trek to Phakding (2610m) approx 4 hrs walk. After an adventurous 45 minute flight above the breathtaking white mountains, we reach the Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla in Solukhumbu. This is one of the most beautiful air routes in the world culminating in a dramatic landing on a hillside surrounded by high mountains peaks. Upon arrival at Lukla, after some packing and arrangements, we start our trek through the prosperous village of Lukla until we reach Phakding. To assist in acclimatization, we only have a short hike today. However, if interested in additional activities we can take a side trip to a nearby monastery. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2

Trek Phakding / Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) approx 5 hrs walk. From Phakding we trek to Namche Bazaar, which was once a small village but since grown in size to accommodate the influx of trekkers, and now is the unofficial capital of the Sherpas. It was once an important trading centre on the route from Tibet to Nepal but has now been largely given over to catering for the needs of trekkers. For acclimatization, we suggest you to spend 2 nights in or around Namche.

Day 03

Namche Bazar – Rest We take a rest at Namche Bazaar to acclimatize, which gives the opportunity to explore some of the less developed and more traditional villages in the area. Easier options for passing the acclimatization day can be found by visiting the twin Sherpa villages of Khumjung and Khunde, which are about a 2 hour walk above Namche. While in Khunde, visit the hospital, which was established and funded by Sir Edmund Hillary’s Himalayan Trust. Khumjung monastery is interesting as being the store place of one of the alleged Yeti scalps that are to be found in the region. Having lunch in Everest view hotel and enjoy with gorgeous view of Mt. Everest and Amadablam is other attractions having one day free in Namche Bazaar.

Day 04

Trek Namche Bazaar / Tyangboche (3860 m.) approx. 4 hrs walk Moving on from Namche Bazaar the trail follows the valley of the Imja Khola with some spectacular views of the mountains including Thamserku, Kangtega and Amadablam and dominating the skyline ahead, Everest and Lhotse. The most common night stop after Namche is at the top of a steep climb from the Imja Khola, at Tengboche. This is the site of one of the most significant Buddhist Monastery in Solukhumbu Region and a visit is well recommended.

Day 05

Trek Tyangboche / Dingboche (4410 m.) approx. 5 hrs walk After breakfast, we start our trek down to Diboche village through the rhododendron forest and crossing the bridge, we arrive one of the beautiful village in Pangboche .The trail continue to Dingboche as Mt. Amadablam get closer and closer. After 5 hours pleasant walk, finally we arrive in Dingboche which is also the gateway to Chukung Village and Islang peak.

Day 06

Rest at Dingboche or Short Hike to Chhkuhung(4730 m) approx. 5 hours. Today is another rest day for the acclimatization. You may have full day rest or have an excursion around to village or even consider a day walk to Chhukung Village. The view is awesome as the mountain like Thamserku, Khangtega, Taboche, Cholache as well as Mt. Amadablam are shinning in front of our eyes.

Day 07

Trek Dingboche / Lobuche (4910 m.) approx. 5 hrs walk After the breakfast, we start our walk. The trail goes gradually up to Thukla. Pleasant uphill walk bring you at the memorial park of the climber and finally to your guesthouse in the Lobuche village.

Day 08

Trek Lobuche / Everest Base Camp (5364 m) / Gorakshep (5140 m.) approx. 8 hrs walk. After having breakfast early in the morning, we continue our trek to Gorekshep Village. After having wonderful walk about 3 hours in a windy and rocky path, we arrive in Gorakshep. After check in at lodge & lunch, we continue our adventure towards Everest Base Camp and to the Khumbu Ice-fall. During spring season, the entire climbers gather in Everest Base Camp with colorful tents can be seen as if we are in snowy tents park. After exploring base camp and its surroundings glacier, we return back to Gorekshep. Wonderful view of Mt. Pumori, Mt. Nuptse and other magnificent peaks, we complete our adventure for today.

Day 09

Trek Gorakshep / Kalapather (5545 m.) / Pheriche (4240m) approx. 7 hrs walk. Early in the morning, we start hike up to Kala Pathar for the most wonderful sunrise views of the Mt. Everest. After climbing for couple hours, we arrive in the famous view point, the top of Kala Pathar. Now we have the best view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Pumori and Ama Dablam along with the entire mountain views of Khumbu Himalayan range. Spending some time to take photograph here, we hike down to Gorekshep. After breakfast, we will have easy walk down to Pheriche for overnight.

Day 10

Trek Pheriche / Phortse (3810 m) approx. 5 hrs walk. The trail descends to Pangboche and now the trail starts turning up and down in every half an hour to Phortse. On the way there is an opportunity to see wild life in and around the area like mountain goat, musk deer and many species of Himalayan birds. There are village monasteries in Pangboche and Phortse rich in cultural heritage of Sherpa people. Along with this, you can also see an old monastery in Pangboche which is believed to have been established during the 16th century. The Pangboche village is known to have highest permanent settlement throughout the year. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 11

Trek Phortse / Namche (3440 m) approx. 5 hrs walk. The trail descends from Phortse to the bridge at Phortse thanga and rejoins the original route from Khumjung and then brings you to Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay at hotel at Namche Bazaar.

Day 12

Trek Namche / Phakding (2610 m) approx. 5 hrs walk We descend from Namche Bazaar and will have lunch in Monjo, where we finally leave Sagarmatha National Park again. If the weather is clear, take plenty of photos of your final views of the great peaks we’ve enjoyed so much along the way, including Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. After trekking down from Monjo, we reach to Phakding.

Day 13

Trek Phakding / Lukla (2840 m) approx 4 hrs walk. Today you will take an easy and beautiful walk through the blue pine and Rhododendron forests with the views of Kusum Kangaru and Mt. Kwangde. After taking lunch in Lukla, it is advisable to take a look at the small village of Lukla. You can explore the city visiting the local “School of Thangka Painting” and see the beautiful religious paintings as well. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14

Fly Lukla to Kathmandu. The flight to Kathmandu from Lukla takes 45minutes. In Kathmandu the day is yours. Enjoy strolling or ambling round the tourist hub. Or you can go for Sightseeing with your guide. Overnight stay in the hotel.
